In 2025, MTS implemented a 160.38 kW photovoltaic system, which achieved significant energy savings for the facility it serves. By utilizing renewable solar energy, the project successfully combined functional efficiency with architectural requirements and environmental protection.
The system has no environmental impact and allows MTS to achieve fossil fuel savings and generate electricity without pollutant emissions, integrating innovative electrically-powered energy-saving technologies.
Total costs of €162,000 were incurred for the two implemented system sections, plus technical expenses of €11,445.00, for a total investment of €173,445.00. For these costs, MTS obtained a subsidized loan of €162,000 and a non-repayable grant of €11,445.00, awarded through the PR-FESR and the Multipurpose Fund.
